Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
LEGOs and puzzles will help build many different skills. My 6-8 grade students in will greatly be moved in my after school program. Students need to be motivated after a long day at school. After school programs need to be educational but fun!
Students will collaborate and work as a team.
These are great skills to have now and for future careers. Giving students a great opportunity to start somewhere is a great investment. I am glad to be able to offer this program that includes hands-on activities and they are away from their phone. It will definitely build social skills and enhance their thinking and think about the future engineering.
