My students need STEM workstations to build their interest and to challenge them. The STEM stations would be used as a science and math enrichment for the students on specific days of the week.

My Students

My students are amazing and really want to do their best. Many of my students are English Language Learners or English Second Language students. Each student has their own type of home life they come from, unfortunately most are from poverty. Our school has 100% free breakfast, lunch, and fresh snacks twice a week. They do not let their background hold them back and many come to school each day wanting to learn. I have told them multiple times how much I admire them.

My Project

The Real World STEM Challenges Small Grout Kit will help my students gain the confidence to do more projects on their own. STEM is an important concept for the students to learn and to challenge themselves with. The students will get to use these materials in small groups on specific days of the week. It will also be an incentive for the students to do when they complete their other work.

The STEM workstations will provide rigorous work for the students and challenge them with higher-level thinking skills.

These higher-level thinking skills will be needed to help them pass their 3rd Grade Reading Guarantee Test.
