My students are creative and energetic, and excited about learning. We are from an elementary school in Southern California and we like taking a hands-on approach to learning. They are hungry for more!
My little scientists are ready for more opportunities with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math!
They are a great group of third graders who surprise me everyday with their advanced character and work habits. They have the capability and drive to be our doctors, teachers, engineers, and scientists of the future, and these materials will help add to their inspiration!
My Project
Our little scientists are so eager to get their hands on tools that will help them understand, create, and experiment with force, motion, electricity, and other concepts embedded in our Next Generation Science Standards.
A hands-on approach to learning is what they need to really become the scientists they are.
While we do our best to learn from books, discussions, and videos, having physical materials to use is what students really need. Can you imagine if Thomas Edison didn't have filaments to experiment with, or if Alexander Graham Bell didn't get to experiment with wires that transmit sound? These physical science kits, like the Create-a-Chain Reaction STEM kit and the Physical Science Activities Lab, will inspire my students to apply their learning and think deeper into the world of engineering.
Have you ever seen a child have an "aha" moment? I can't wait for more of these in our classroom!
