My Project

We love how eager our students are to explore, question, and create. This year, our school has the largest Science Olympiad team in the county, with 45 students who are excited to learn through hands-on STEM challenges. Our team includes students from a wide variety of backgrounds who share a passion for discovery and teamwork. They thrive when they can design, build, and test their ideas while learning how science connects to the real world.

These materials will help students think like scientists—testing ideas, solving problems, and working together to make discoveries.

Ticonderoga pencils, binders, sheet protectors, and gallon storage bags will help students stay organized as they record data, sketch designs, and prepare for competitions. Glue guns, hot glue, masking tape, pasta, and felt sheets will allow students to safely build and test prototypes during engineering and design challenges. Measuring cups, funnels, droppers, spot plates, and pH test strips will support chemistry and life science events where careful measuring, observation, and experimentation are essential.

The safety glasses ensure that all 45 students can participate safely in hands-on activities, while paper towels help keep work areas clean and ready for the next experiment. Every item will be used by multiple teams to explore different areas of science, from physics and chemistry to environmental and engineering design.

These materials will make it possible for every student to participate meaningfully in Science Olympiad events, helping them build confidence, curiosity, teamwork skills, and a lifelong love of science.
