Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
These items will help me when I teach my students about emotions and social skills.
Items like the magnetic set will teach them confidence and group work.
While they work individually, or with others, they can create things and have fun. All while I am still engaging them in SEL learning.
The playdoh is a fun activity for my students to do while we engage verbally. When they are upset things like playdoh and moldable sand can help them calm down while distracting them. Then we can discuss their feelings and actions in a calm manner. And we need some storage containers to keep everything organized.
