Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me provide my first graders with a STEM center station and other resources to help them practice and master early math concepts such as number sense, place value, and engineering.

I am asking for storage containers to organize the classroom STEM tools and plastic sleeves to practice number fluency.

My goal is to have a central place for students to gather materials and resources they need in order to skills and be on their way to being math and STEM wizards.

This STEM station will have resources to help my first grade students develop a strong foundation critical for mathematical learning and engineering skills. I am also asking for laminating pouches to ensure our papers last long-term.

These materials can be used independently, with a partner, in a small group, or at a teacher-led station. My goal is for them to develop a strong foundation in numeracy, a love for numbers, and to help build strong critical thinking skills. Thank you for your support.
