This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me provide science, STEM building projects, and experiences for my Title I third-grade students.

The items in this project align with our science curriculum and standards, which will allow students to apply what they have learned and also obtain a hands-on project-based learning experience.

Students are always so excited to work with these materials and will create lifelong memories.

The bird houses will be used when we learn about severe weather conditions. Students will have to construct a house model that will be safe from these conditions. The terrariums will be used when we learn about life science, and will also bring in responsibility for students to care for their plants. Students will document the changes in their plant in their science journal. The fossils will be used when we learn about fossils, and they always excite students.
