My Project
My classroom includes gifted students in grade 2-5 who are amazing learners! The students love making things during their STEM Enrichment classes. The school is in a high poverty zone with students coming from low socioeconomic status homes. Often students lack access to robots and technology, but they crave experiences! Despite our hardships, my class is full of intelligent, hardworking students who want to be challenged academically.
Students are fascinated by technology, and this project will put robots and coding into their hands!
These STEM Robot Building Kits will give my students the opportunity to design and engineer using hands on materials
The materials requested include STEM Robot Building Kits. They are interactive, programmable robots that take Computer Science and Computational Thinking off of the screen and bring them to life. Robot Building Kits solutions encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership, passion, and problem-solving among groups. The students will have the chance to program the mini robots, solve coding problems, and even design their own coding challenges. Students will work with partners in small groups and independently to improve their digital skills.
The students will become 21st century learners and gain skills which will inspire future careers!
