Help me give my students fun, engaging, STEM activities for indoor recess. Often due to inclement winter weather, we cannot get outside to move and play. These building activities will provide students with stimulating STEM activities.

My Students
My students are a diverse group of children. They are Somali, Bengali, Swahili, Arabic, Puerto Rican, and American. We are a happy learning community.
The students are motivated to learn.
They want their brains to grow. We talk about it daily! When they finish class assignments, they raise their hands and say, "May I find something productive to do?" We talk about how important it is to always be productive.
The classroom is THEIR classroom. I know if I'm ever not in the classroom, they could execute the school day because they truly feel ownership not only in materials and space, but in routines and expectations.
Most of my students' families face economic hardships and poverty, but these children come to school and are ready to learn every day and they deserve the best learning experiences! Their academic abilities range. Some of the students speak limited English. But, regardless of their differing abilities, ALL of my students are excited and motivated to learn and succeed in Second Grade.
My Project
The Magnetic tiles will provide students with engaging building materials. I see students in other classes using the same tiles and the students love to work with the tiles.
The marble kit will also provide students with a challenging building kit.
They will have to create a path to make the marble move from the start to the finish. This activity is a perfect STEM activity for my 2nd Graders.
These activities will provide engaging indoor recess activities. ALL my students can participate, build, and create based on their own individual abilities. I am excited to see what they will create!
