Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is a Title I school with students from second to sixth grade. My students are from the inner city and are mostly English Language Learners. Our school is a pilot school. The school's philosophy focuses on leadership skills with an emphasis on critical thinking.
My students are hardworking, resourceful, and self-motivated young people who are eager to be lifelong learners.
The majority of the students who attend our school will be the first in their families to attend college.
My Project
S.T.E.M. is an immediate open for promoting curiosity and hands-on experiences. This project will foster that enthusiasm that will build throughout the academic year. All the materials requested in this project will be put to use immediately by our young scientists, technicians, mathematicians, and engineers.
STEM instilling that passion and drive to learn is at its most crucial stage during the elementary years.
Students will use computer programming or coding to program robots to move. Students will become engineers as they use the engineering process to build the different robots this project provides. Students will use the drone to take photographs for proportional diagrams they will create.
