This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The "STEM Games" project aims to enhance the STEM education of my fourth-grade students through interactive and engaging learning experiences. By integrating game-based learning into the classroom, we intend to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among young learners. This project will leverage the natural curiosity and enthusiasm of fourth graders, making STEM subjects both fun and accessible.

These resources, kits and activities will:

Enhance STEM Literacy: Improve students' foundational knowledge in STEM subjects through interactive and hands-on learning experiences.

Promote Critical Thinking: Develop students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills by engaging them in challenging and fun activities.

Encourage Collaboration: Foster teamwork and communication among students by involving them in group-based games and projects.

Increase Engagement: Make learning more enjoyable and relatable to increase student interest and participation in STEM subjects.

Provide Equitable Access: Ensure all students, regardless of background, have the opportunity to engage with and benefit from high-quality STEM education.

Project Activities

Game-Based Learning Modules: Develop a series of game-based learning modules tailored to the fourth-grade curriculum. These modules will include board games, card games, digital games, and physical activities that teach key STEM concepts.
