My Students

My students live in a very high-crime and impoverished neighborhood. They all qualify for free lunch. My school has been hit hard by budget cuts. Even with all of the world's problems weighing heavy on them, my students are the most motivated, positive, and enjoyable people to be around. They deserve every advantage that I can offer them. That is why I try hard every day to give them the best education possible.

As a teacher in a low-income and high poverty neighborhood, my students needs all the resources they can get their hands on.

My Project

I am asking for a class set of headphones to help support my students with instructional technology. My students have access to STEM instructional software, but they have no way of listening to the computer. They are missing out on many features such as listening to STEM text being read aloud, watching educational videos, and receiving immediate feedback from instructional lesson.

A class set of headphones will make STEM instruction in my classroom a more meaningful experience.

With headphones, I will be able to provide students with a very uniquely personal learning experience that will help motivate their intrinsic love for STEM.
