Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These hands on projects will allow my students to construct castles, catapults, windmills, etc. which have to do with Social Studies. These projects will be in centers so the students will be able to do some hands-on history projects to emphasize the major accomplishments of history. When we study Greece, the students can build a Trojan Horse. When we study Rome, they can rebuild the Colosseum. China, the Great Wall, Egypt, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. There are hundreds of possibilities for construction projects which will challenge the mind and the fingers!
