My Students
Our students live in a small rural area of Kansas and love to learn. Our kindergarten through 6th grade building has 45 students, and we love the ability to be able to teach them in a more one-on-one setting because this gives us the opportunity to meet their needs and get to know them while building trust. Our school is blessed with this one-on-one approach which is what will make these STEM or STEAM projects even more engaging and take our students to a deeper level of learning.
My Project
This Human Body Activity Tub and Create-A-Chain Reaction STEM Kit will help my students by allowing them to have hands-on materials to learn with. All of my students from grades 3-6 will enjoy these materials as the materials help them understand and develop a deeper love for and interest in science.
We will use these materials weekly as we do science experiments and examine different ways to become better learners.
Each student will get several chances to use these materials and become familiar with them. This will help prepare students for future learning that goes beyond my classroom. By the end of the school year, my students will show more interest in science!
