STEM Needs the E!
My students need 1 K'NEX Simple Machines set and 4 LEGO sets that will allow them to create prototypes and models.
We are a STEM school, and we are excited about the E!
We are a small school in a low income area.
Students get very excited about things that others might take for granted. The students show a lot of pride in their school and classrooms. As a school, we are initiating a focus on personalized learning, project-based learning, and a multiage environment.
I am requesting 1 K'NEX Simple Machines set and 4 LEGO sets that will allow them to create prototypes and models.
My school is a recently new STEM school and my students are excited and eager to learn and create. We often use design briefs to challenge students to solve problems. Students get excited about building prototypes and models, but we are currently lacking the tools to so. We are asking for tools like Legos and K'nex so students will not only be able to plan, but BUILD their creations as well.
We have solved problems such as designing water filters for those in need around the world and clothing inspired by animal adaptations, but we are currently limited to drawings.
We are excited to be able to offer tools to actually construct students' ideas.
