Help me give my students hands on STEM learning in math and science class in Maplewood, MN!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Farrell's classroom raised $995
This project is fully funded
My Project
Edgerton Elementary is a wonderful school with amazing students. We have 83% students that qualify for free and reduced lunch. The items on our wish list with help us bring STEM alive in math and science class.
Students will use the magnatiles to visualize and create structures to find the surface area and volume in geometry.
They will be able to write about their math using the pencils and draw it using markers. Their new supplies and calculators will be kept in our new table bins.
We will read about black inventors that changed the world in our engineering unit in science. Students will also use the play dough to make images of new vocabulary words they learn in science (many of our students are multilingual leaners).
Students will feel included in school by using bandaids that math their skin color. We have lovely students, but many cannot provide supplies for school. Thank you for any support you can offer!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
