Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my second-graders because they are intelligent young minds with genuine pure hearts. They are special because they love school and are eager to learn, overcome challenges, and grow.
These concrete and pictorial manipulatives and materials will help my students to explore abstract STEM concepts. Students with these resources are more likely to have an enjoyable experience while learning math and science. This positive association with complex concepts will reduce the potential for anxiety that could lead to math and/or science phobia. Please help me to nurture and inspire our future STEM professionals!
