This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher of 700+ students, I am constantly on the hunt for all sorts of supplies. We are a busy STEM Lab and are creating and engineering daily. Second grade is currently building animal habitats. Third and fourth grades are engineering marble runs. Fifth grade just completed designing a functioning wind powered turbine and car.
My STEM class is all about building, engineering, inventing, and creating.
The students are loving the chance to brainstorm ideas and then actually build them. The supplies on my wishlist, including Legos, cardboard tubes, and other building supplies, are all items that we use in our STEM class. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help us obtain lessons and other materials for hands-on learning.
