My Students
My classroom is a place where students from many different backgrounds are able to come together to form an amazing classroom community. We work hard together, challenge each other, solve problems together, and show our support to those around us as we strive to grow both academically and as individuals.
By providing hands-on experiences and opportunities to solve real life problems, our classroom is full of rigor and brimming with chances for students to take ownership of what we are learning.
Students look forward to class, eager to see what new project or problem we will tackle that day.
My Project
Our classroom is one full of activity and exploration. A "STEM wall" will not only provide easy access to the tools needed for these activities, but it will provide a way for students to organize and take some ownership of the items in our classroom.
Giving students access to these materials will allow them to build and create in ways that they do not have right now.
Whether it is building a cardboard model of an earthquake resistant building during a STEM lesson or designing a mini putt-putt course to show proportions and surface area in math class, the materials on our new STEM wall will help get the job done right.
