My Project
Greetings!
This year, my students will be challenged to record while they explore in our science/STEM lab sessions.
Students make better connections when they are able to write/draw/label/calculate/doodle as they engage in hands-on learning in our labs. I hope to forge a strong connection on how real-world scientist also use similar techniques to keep valid records to reference over time.
Excited students also can record their wonderings, questions, discoveries as they observe and participate in STEM design sessions, problem solving science labs, and citizen science lessons.
We hope to share our writings, drawings, and calculations with peers and community at school science nights throughout the school year.
As a member of a rural Title I school in Florida, I have highly motivated students, but minimal supplies to create the type of science recording experiences I am hoping to bring alive in my classroom sessions. Thank you in advance for your consideration to support our learning environment!
