This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to expose my students to more STEM-related topics and push them towards taking STEM-related classes. My goal is for my students to become actively engaged and interested in STEM and AP classes related to STEM. A lot of my students aren't too involved in STEM-related classes. They only take regular courses and I would like for them to see if STEM is something that they would be interested in. My school doesn't have a lot of STEM-related courses and teachers, so the materials purchased with the TPT gift cards would help me start and hopefully continue the STEM program at my school.
