This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students enjoy working with their hands during STEAM time. I have included STEAM time in my daily schedule to give them time to experiment and work with objects.

They love building and creating new structures during STEAM time.

These items will get their imagination growing. These items will keep them engaged and motivated to stay on task. They will work with classmates to figure out new creations. And they will learn other valuable skills like teamwork, communication, and collaboration along the way.

They will plan and discuss possible designs and then begin building their creations. As a team they will communicate with each other to revise and make adjustments as they check to see if their creations work.
