My Students
Hello! My name is Ms. Jennifer Wang, and I am a special education teacher 2021-2022 term, I teach three Special Academic Instruction (SAI) Science, including biology, chemistry, and physics. I have about 70 students ranging from grades 9-12 with varying learning abilities/capabilities. The students in my classes are on the diploma track and work hard to the best of their abilities.

As a teacher, I strive to create enjoyable learning experiences for my students, despite any struggles or hardships they endure.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will create a learning environment that is flexible and adaptable. Students will have opportunities to conduct labs and experiments while practicing observing, taking data, and thinking critically. For example, students can learn about mixtures and apply what they learn in person with our projects. Last year when COVID-19 occurred, my "classroom" consisted of many popular online platforms; therefore, my students missed out on many fun lab activities.
This year, I am excited to engage my students with some science fun in person!
The materials and supplies below will give my students resources to support them in our biology, chemistry, and physics courses. Digital/physical resources from Teachers Pay Teacher will provide the scaffolding the students need to ensure academic success.
