My students need two STEM Bundles and a set of giant magnetic shapes will also help them with their science, technology, engineering, and math skills.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a PreK classroom full of noise, excitement, and eager to learn. What better way to learn through hands on fun! My students are full of energy and wonderment, it is my job to take advantage of this to get them ready for their future!!
We are one of the largest urban school districts in the nation.
With this comes high poverty but this does not hinder our want to teach and learn. I have both Bilingual and Gen Ed students in my classroom and cater to all their needs. They learn at a rapid pace in PreK and they enjoy every minute of it!
My Project
By having these STEM items, my students will be able to have manipulatives for their hands on learning. Along with this, they will be able to make real world connections with these very complete STEM bundles. We will be able to use them every day for instruction and during our centers time. They will be able to learn about measurement, sinking and floating, story retells, engineering, physics, motion, and magnets just to name a few.
These items will make a world of a difference for my students.
In a high poverty area they come with little background knowledge and need to make these important connections so they are more successful in their following academic years of learning. By having hands on materials they will be able to remember exact moment of their learning.
