My Project

I am passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences for my students, and my STEM Lab project is designed to ignite their curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. My students are incredibly inquisitive, creative, and eager to explore new concepts, and I want to provide them with the tools they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Through the continued growth of this STEM Lab, they will have access to interactive technology, engineering kits, and science experiments that will bring abstract concepts to life. Each resource—whether it’s robotics kits, 3D printers, coding software, or scientific tools—will empower them to explore real-world applications of STEM, develop teamwork skills, and build confidence in their ability to innovate. I love seeing the excitement in their eyes when they make discoveries on their own, and this lab will give them the opportunity to learn by doing, fostering a deeper understanding of STEM principles while preparing them for future academic and career opportunities.

One of the most exciting additions to our lab will be an embroidery machine, which will allow students to explore the intersection of STEM and design.

With this technology, they will learn about computer-aided design (CAD), coding, and engineering principles while creating their own embroidered patterns and prototypes. This resource will encourage innovation by blending technology with creativity, teaching students how precision, mathematics, and programming can be applied to real-world projects. Whether designing logos, exploring textile engineering, or understanding the mechanics of automated machines, students will develop hands-on skills that connect STEM to diverse career pathways.
