My Students

My students are creative, curious, and enthusiastic about learning. I love hands on learning and exploring. We are a small a school district in rural Iowa with very limited funds. They come to school ready to learn and try new and exciting things.

In my classroom the students love learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly between each of them.

I have a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that I meet each student's needs. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a group of learners that are excited about learning!

My Project

My students need STEM Kits that they can explore how things in the real world work. The kits need to be where the students have access to them on a daily basis. The STEM kits allow us to have hands-on real world designs to work with.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful real world application projects.

We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long learners. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on STEM kits in the primary grades. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality.
