Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love completing STEM activities. These projects teach them so much more than a worksheet/textbook-based lesson.
The STEM Kits will allow students to learn hands on activities that will help them learn real world future science and technology such as alternative energy.
The students will design and build energy sources, conduct experiments/investigations and then present their findings to the class. STEM kits will challenge students to work together in small groups (helping to allow for more socialization lost during the pandemic), while learning about the benefits of energy using wind and water power.
The headphones are vital for students to be able to use the online science program for curriculum and intervention. These headphones will make a huge difference in learning as they will allow students to be able to listen to the audio portions (including video clips) of online lessons while working at their own pace.
