Describing my students isn't an easy task. Many would say that they are inspirational, creative and hard-working. They are all unique, unique in their interests, their learning, their abilities and so much more. What they all have in common is their desire to learn each day despite difficulties that they encounter.
Our classroom is amazing because we understand that everyone learns at their own pace, and needs a variety of resources to meet their unique needs.
As the teacher, I pride myself on making sure my students are always engaged, motivated and inspired to create their own learning.
STEM is alive and well in our classroom, and we are so excited to be adding ELECTRICITY to our curriculum this year! We are in need of Snap Circuits and a Makey Makey set to help learn about the importance and fundamentals of electricity, engineering, and STEM/STEAM.
It's our experience that students learn best by DOING - and that's exactly what this project is about!
Students will learn the basics of electricity by making and experimenting with circuits. We have also includes some great STEM books for our bookworms - learning about engineering through reading is a passion we foster in our students!
