My Project

My young students with Autism are amazing and they are working so hard this school year! My students are absolutely amazing! My students with Autism would benefit from stem items for our sensory area in our classroom! Sensory areas help to provide a calm, soothing sensory experience for students!

Sensory areas can help students with Autism calm their bodies and self-regulate their behavior when they feel overwhelmed!

Stem items such as Fiber Optic Sensory Lights for our sensory area would provide a calming sensory experience for my students! It would help my students feel calm and comforted while helping them get ready to learn!

The Jellyfish Lamp, Soft Light Color Changing Lamp, and Ocean Waves Calming Projector Light would provide a wonderful sensory experience for my students with Autism! These terrific stem sensory items would allow my students to experience needed sensory input, while also helping them to improve their focusing and processing skills!

These stem sensory items can have a great impact on my students' ability to interact with others! A sensory room that includes these soothing sensory items will help my students to remain calm and ready to sit, focus, engage with others, and participate in activities in the class!
