This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students of my school come from a low social economic background, wherein 90% of them qualify for free or reduced price meals.

My students are very excited to enter the world of Three Dimensional (3D) technology.

3D printing is all the craze with the industry being able to make the technology small enough for classroom and house hold use. Unfortunately, the cost is high so many will never be able to have hands on experience. They enjoy exploring with technology at our school as many of them do not have access to simple things like a computer or Internet. Our school is large, consisting of 1,100 students ranging from Kinder to 5th Grade.

My Project

This project will change the way my students create art. Creating a piece of art without using paper is all new, and totally cool. This product takes the 3D printing craze to a whole different level.

Three Dimensional (3D) art is the cutting edge of technology right now.

Using a simple pen based product to create these 3D objects has been unheard of until now. My students may never have an opportunity to use this type of technology outside of school. These special pens will allow the students to create a 3D model limiting them to nothing but their imagination.

These pens will allow the students to explore various geometrical shapes in 3D form. They can re-create our national monuments and study the chemistry which allows the technology to work.
