My Project

I am in desperate need of a STEM kit from Lakeshore. This skill-building bundle provides all the level-appropriate tools you needed to integrate STEM into your curriculum…and help students explore important concepts hands on! From fun-filled craft kits that let children create and customize real-working vehicles to a remote-control robot students design themselves—our bundle keeps kids learning in thrilling new ways!

In addition to the STEM kit, I am also requesting two Fairy Tale problem solving Stem kit where kids engineer happier endings to fairy tales—as they design a house that can’t be blown down, construct a bridge that keeps 3 goats safe from the troll and build a chair even Goldilocks can’t break!

These kits help children discover the STEM in their favorite fairy tales—and naturally inspire them to explore each challenging situation until they find a solution! Each kit comes with a STEM-focused story card, building materials, a guide, plus student and teacher cards with lesson plans and full support.

These materials will give my students the hands-on experience they need to truly experience STEM. Right now, with the budget constraints in my classroom, we are limited to paper and pencil activities unless I want to buy them from my own pocket. These materials will give my student authentic STEM experience that is hands on and relevant to today’s culture.

My students have never had authentic hands-on STEM experience and I would like to have them experience all these activities. I feel that this will make them love STEM and foster a love of science and mathematics for the rest of their lives. There is only one way to do this and that is with these kits!
