My Project
My students are the BEST! They're the littlest learners in out pre-k-5th grade elementary school in Harlem. 93% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Early childhood was only added to our school a year ago, so there are still a bunch of materials that the classroom needs in order to optimize student success!
In order to meet the requirements based on the ECERS rating system, these classroom materials are required!
These materials will help them with their academic skills like mathematics and literacy, and also their social emotional skills!
The food and doll accessories will be used in our kitchen area to help students develop their social skills by engaging in sociodramatic play
The ice cream game, nuts and bolts, and peg number boards will help students develop their math skills like counting and quantifying
The rest of the materials like the theraputty and breathing board will be used to help students work on their social emotional skills!
