Help me give my students a Powershot digital camera, HP photo printer, HP ink, and photo printing paper. These items will help my students make scientific observations in their community.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach science to 180 middle school students in one of the largest Title I middle schools in Miami Dade County. Many of our students come from low-income and underprivileged homes, and 90% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. A clear majority speak English as a second language.
The middle school students that I teach are learning English as a second language while also having mild learning disabilities.
Despite my students low socioeconomic standing and language and learning barriers, they come to my class ready and willing to try their best!
These students love when they learn something new and they can share their knowledge with their friends and family. My students are willing and able to overcome the most challenging of circumstances when given the right resources.
My Project
My students need a Cannon digital camera, HP printer, photo paper, and ink so they can create community engineering journals about how engineering is used in their neighborhood. The students will take pictures using the Canon digital camera of engineering structures in their neighborhood such as the schools, post office, traffic control lights and routes, parks, and more.
Based on their observations, the students will redesign structures in their neighborhood.
Students will be able to use STEM strategies and scientific skills to improve neighborhood design. Engineering can be found everywhere. The purpose of this project is to liven up our science classroom by using S.T.E.M skills and concepts which ensures that their learning is fun and meaningful and reflects the real world.
