This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very creative. I know that STEM can be a subject that students do not require a lot of exposure. I would like to give my students the opportunity to work with these open-ended materials and STEM kits in order to build their scientific thinking skills. I want my students to continue their education and feel confident to choose a career in science because they had the exposure in elementary school. My students will have the opportunity to build a car and create a marble maze. The hand sanitizer will be used before experimenting with the materials in order to keep down the spread of germs.
