My students need engaging materials such as an 800 Piece Straws Builders Construction Building Toy and Magnetic Building Blocks for them to learn. STEM activities are great for their fine motor and brain development. All of these materials will be in bins and all students will benefit.
My students like to move, they love to read, and they love lots of positive attention. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I may not be able to control their home lives; however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hoping to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
I want all of my students to succeed and challenge themselves in the classroom.
My Project
The IQ Builder STEM Learning Toys that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The students will use, the l800-piece Straw Builders and Creative Kids Brain Flakes to create or build contraptions of their choice. My high flyers (students) that finish their work early will have the option to go and use their creative ideas to be hands-on with their extra time.
The students will use the Magnetic Building Blocks and Learning Resources iTrax Critical Thinking Game to help build their creativity also when done with their work.
The students will be building and creating when they have some downtime. They will use these materials during any inside recess with our "long" winters. The students get so excited when they build something and they can show you. I love their imaginations and building techniques.
