Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year I will be teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and Digital Literacy. My students will engage in many new and exciting projects and activities such as creating their own avatars and creating digital artifacts to express their creativity and show what they know.

I need a printer and ink so I can print all their wonderful work for display around the school.

Being able to print student work in color will help students feel proud of their work and make it feel tangible. We create so many digital items such as posters, infographics, and more but they don't make it off the screen. I think my students will be more engaged and put in more effort if they know that their work can be displayed.
