Help me give my students the opportunity to expand their thinking through interactive learning tools: Physics Kit and Geometry materials feature in the individual mind expansion while the headphones allow research without noise distractions.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are part of a dynamic school district focusing on changing generational and systemic challenges through concentrated efforts on academics, character development and targeted future goals. These scholars meet trials and challenges early in life.
My scholars face trials and challenges often only experienced by older individuals; therefore, they need consistent warm, but firm direction and instruction with an eye to their possibility to overcome/meet the future trials and challenges of their lives.
The goal is for them to see THEIR FUTURE.
My Project
These materials will continue our quest to further students experience and thinking by offering more individual and group interactions.
The students in my lovely cohort have a need to expand their experience and thinking through more interactive means.
We have some supplies to continue our focus on STEM with meaning and purpose through donations. The headphones will allow for individual research and computer skill building. The Physics Principle model kits will allow hands-on exploration and the timer are used for silent reading fluency during guided reading. The timers also work for experiment timing and trials.
Expansion of the mind and developing the mind-set of exploration and I CAN is very integral and important to meeting the goal of our scholars seeing THEIR FUTURE. Our school's motto is TO THE TOP, TO THE TOP- each must climb their mountain. We are educators and community there to assist and guide like good sherpas.
