My Project
As we are heading into the end of the year I would love to give my students materials to support STEM creativity and upcoming lessons. My students are so creative and I love watching them work through problems with hand-on materials. These items will help them do that. I feel the Kinex building set will be a hit and I can use the pieces to support instruction on problem solving in science and math. The wet erase markers, chalk, stapler and storage bags will also be used to support these activities in various ways. The chalk in particular has endless possibilities but I already plan on doing math with it outside and allowing those creative minds to show through art. The candy and pretzels will be used for a treat/incentive for prizes to some of the STEM challenges or when they may need a little extra push to get through the end of the day. The calendar will be used to allow me to organize groups and aid as a visual for upcoming challenges or activities. I appreciate the time you took reading about my project and considering donating to our classroom to support my students.
