This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My first graders are a cheerful group of wide-eyed children excited to learn! My students are composed of a variety of backgrounds and languages. This class is full of creative and eager learners.

This is why I believe it is so important to give my students the very best instruction I possibly can with a variety of resources. I want my classroom to be a safe and healthy place where my students can thrive and be their very best!
My Project
My first graders missed out on having hands on center activities in Kindergarten due to COVID. They are in need of having time to use their imagination to build and create!
These STEM items like Picasso tiles and play dough will help encourage our future engineers to test how things work and how we can make it better.
My students will have the opportunity to share and explain their ideas with their classmates--a much needed skill after learning from home. First graders will love to have these tools that will spark and grow their curiosity for learning!
