My Project
I teach in a special education preschool class. With four sessions of preschool a week, this project will impact over 40 students in just one year! We have a mix of students with IEPs and role-model peers. With the diverse needs in my classroom, these activities would give my students the opportunity to engage in age-appropriate STEM activities on a weekly basis.
My classroom is often a child's first encounter in the school system. My goal is to provide a safe and fun atmosphere that fosters creativity and exploration.
Students would have the opportunity to play while they learn, create, edit, and persist through difficult challenges.
