Help me give my students STEM supplies to enrich my students education with a microscope, slides and other materials to bring science to life in my self contained classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach kids who mostly have intellectual disabilities in a self contained classroom. They leave for art and PE but never get to take science classes. My kids love to learn and do hands on activities as it helps them learn.
The microscope and slides will bring the unseen world to life before their eyes.
The insect and plant kits will allow my wonderful students to see the life cycle of insects and plants.
The science books contain easy to understand information when read aloud and my students also love to hold books & look at pictures.
