Help me give my students new indoor recess activities. We live in an area that experiences cold fall and winter seasons and we would love a few more engaging stem activities to enjoy while indoors.

My Students
My students are new learners and new the school environment they are working on learning letters, numbers, and their social skills. They are learning new things everyday and working hard to make their families and myself proud of their progress. We have come a long way in the last 3 months and we plan to move even further as the school year continues. They have gone from not knowing how to write their names to writing and being able to read three letter words. They are all very giving especially in their drawing of pictures not only for myself to enjoy but also my son. They give their best everyday!
My Project
My students are learning problem solving skill,s and engaging activities that are also fun during their indoor recess would increase their learning time during the school day. Activities that build on what they are learning during the school day such as how to move one object to a different position with minimal tools. How to utilize shapes the create new shapes. The ability to recognize shapes in their world and in illustrations. The ability to count objects by recognizing a set and or a pattern. These items would also aid in strengthening their cognition and socializing skills. Students are learning how to work as a team in a group, and also how to interact one-on-one. The young students are also learning how to strengthen their hands-on skills with building and maneuvering items. The young students comprehend seeing examples in real-life rather than just on paper. They are also working on expanding their imaginations.
