My Students
My students are young explorers looking to explore the world around them despite living in a community riddled with crime and drugs. They have a love for learning with mixed interest, abilities and goals. We enjoy leaning something new daily.
My Project
I have selected these materials to be used to explore STEM in preschool. By providing hands-on experiences the students will remain engaged as they explore and learn during our study about Simple Machines. Students will be able to use these tools independently or with little support as they ask questions and apply knowledge. By using these replicas, students will begin to recognize and understand these simple machine in their environment. These replicas also promote new vocabulary words that could help them describe what they see and explain how it is used, using vocabulary.
