My students need an iPad and Osmo to extend their STEM exploration into the realm of technology. My students do not have personal technology at home so I am trying to provide opportunities for tech exploration.

My Students
Our students live in a suburb of a large southern city. Our school qualifies as a Title I school and my students all qualify for free or reduced lunch. The students in my integrated general education and special needs kindergarten class love to learn and come in every day eager to explore and discover.
The excitement and openness of five and six year olds ready to soak up knowledge is contagious!
We build on the readiness of our students to create an environment with materials and tools ready to bring them to the next level of learning. My students are ready to be challenged!
My Project
The iPad and OSMO will allow my students access to technology they do not have at home. My students will be able to practice foundational skills in reading, writing, math and science as well as learning how to utilize technology.
My students need school-based technology to explore STEM concepts that will extend and compliment our existing science curriculum.
The Osmo will provide my students with hands-on activities to explore a variety of subjects including math, science, and visual arts. Through the use of the iPad, the Osmo and its software, my students will have compatible access to technology as the rest of the students across our district.
