STEM - Engineering, Life Cycles, Weather, & Climate Materials

Help me give my students science, technology, and engineering resources. I believe my students learn best when using books, science kits, games, and other hands-on materials to manipulate and figure out how processes work.

My Students

My students are outgoing, spunky, bright, enthusiastic learners, and they are committed to doing their best. I cannot say enough about this group of students. My students love to learn and challenge themselves. They are eager and love to learn from me and their peers.

I have a wonderful, diverse group of students, their different languages and cultures represented.

All students are friends with each other, are welcoming of each other, and love to learn from each other. They talk to each with respect and kindness, and are truly leaders of the future. I cannot wait to see what they do.

My Project

My students' favorite subjects are science and engineering. They become the most engaged and motivated when they are learning about the world around them. I want to help them grow and continue to figure out how the world works with hands-on activities and relevant texts.

My students are brilliant and love a challenge.

I chose a magnetic crane engineering project that is advanced, challenging, and will require team-work and focus. I know my students will be able to meet these expectations, they just need the opportunity to do so.

I also chose weather and climate system materials to allow them to engage with the environment and learn from real-life practice and application. They will be able to study the w

Finally, I chose informational texts and realia to help students learn about different life cycles. The texts can be read in small groups and different objects and models can be compared and contrasted.
