My Students

"Do not confine our children to your own learning, for they were born in another time." - an old Chinese proverb. My students need supplies to help them become 21st century learners.

My third grade students are eager and bright children who look forward to coming to school everyday.

They have smiles on their faces as they walk in every morning, curious to find out what the day will bring. They get excited when new challenges are presented to them and they enjoy project based learning. They are learning to collect data and conduct meaningful research, and then to present the information to others.

My Project

My students are learning to work in cooperative groups to conduct research. With these iPads, each group will be able to collect information needed by taking pictures, accessing information on the Internet, creating video presentations, and writing stories to share their experiences. They are making history each day with their innovative experiences in the classroom and their outreach to community members to become more knowledgeable in all fields possible. It will allow them to document opportunities they have out of the classroom and enhance those experiences.

By donating to this project you willing be supporting STEM education for these 21st century learners.

These iPads will give my students more choices to explore their interests in depth and connect to real world STEM careers. The students will enhance their technical skills and expose them to all the different ways technology can help them and the community around them.
