Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
STEM-based education teaches children more than science and mathematics concepts. My students will have hands on learning and real world application with STEM learning. Most of the STEM kits have multiple forms of building and construction to see how things are built and put together. Other STEM kits have my students exploring problem solving and how different ideas can solve the same situation.
With this donation, my students will be driven to activate their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
Social skills will be another major factor in our learning using STEM. Students will be using the kits in groups and would need to work together to share ideas and collaborate with students of different ability levels.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are necessary for developing an innovative mind in my students.
