STEM Creativity: Bringing Cricut Magic to Our Classroom!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A Cricut machine is a versatile tool that can be used in a variety of educational settings, including classrooms. My students work so hard each and every day in our core subjects and it is nice to see them put their creativity to use on STEM Days as well as during "free time." My students would be able to use the Cricut to design banners and posters for their class projects as well as help out in creating materials for the classroom to display. They can also create learning tools such as flashcards, manipulatives, and visual aids.
The Cricut machines can be used in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) projects to create prototypes, models, and other hands-on learning materials.
Students can design their own creations using design software and then use the Cricut machine to bring their ideas to life.
I would also benefit from having the Cricut and materials to have the opportunity to personalize items such as name tags, labels, and rewards. This can help create a sense of ownership and belonging in the classroom.
Overall, a Cricut machine can be a valuable tool in my classroom, helping to enhance creativity, engagement, and learning across a wide range of subjects and activities.
