This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach at an amazing school! The kids at my school are very loving. They try their hardest and will do anything for their teachers. Some live in tough neighborhoods or homeless shelters. They still come to school wanting to learn and are happy to be at school. We always want to make sure to provide for every student.

We are in the process of becoming the 1st STEM certified school in Tennessee!

We are trying to incorporate STEM into our daily schedules as much as possible!

My Project

Our school has worked so hard to go through the process of becoming the first STEM certified elementary school in Tennessee. We are switching up everything to incorporate STEM easily into our daily schedules. Our students have responded so well to these changes. We have built a brand new innovation lab and we are still trying to add as many resources as we can.

Coding Robots are an amazing addition to our innovation lab that is easy for our younger learners to be independent while doing a STEM activity!

These robots are easy to use and a great way to introduce students to this new way of thinking!
