Help me give my students flexible seating, STEM books, hands-on learning materials, and classroom enhancements to foster engagement, critical thinking, and a welcoming learning environment.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn in an environment that supports collaboration and deep thinking. To enhance their learning experience, I am requesting flexible seating, STEM books, and hands-on materials that will make our classroom more engaging and dynamic. The stadium seats and drafting chair will provide comfortable options for students to work in different areas, while interactive tools like LEGO botanical sets and the butterfly farm will bring mathematical and scientific concepts to life.
These resources will transform our classroom into a more inclusive and engaging space.
The STEM books, including Counting on Katherine and The Girl With a Mind for Math, will inspire students—especially young girls—to see themselves as future problem-solvers and innovators. The string lights and pom balls will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages collaboration and focus. Additionally, stylus pens will allow students to interact more effectively with digital learning tools.
